City’Super

City’Super is a well-known “Mega Lifestyle Specialty Store” in Hong Kong, and is always a pioneer in industry with its friendly customer services. In 2006, City’Super has made a move to deploy a new membership card system using the Hybrid Mifare & Thermal Rewritable technology. It allows members to accumulate bonus points as part of their Seasonal and Annual Reward Schemes. Members can also charge the card with money to make cash-free purchases, and shorten the transaction time.

Members are able to instantly check the accumulated bonus points at their service counters or the auto card printing machines.

City’Super also issued e-gift cards with flexible prepaid values. The prepaid value needs not to be used in one-time, and the remaining balance will be clearly shown on cards after each purchase. This gives a more convenient and enjoyable shopping experience, and makes it perfect for family, friends and business use.

Hung Fook Tong Hung Fook Tong Holdings owns more than 20 years experiences of producing health beverages and food in Hong Kong. While the products are traditional, Hung Fook Tong adopted a modern management style and expanded rapidly with over 60 outlets in Hong Kong now. In order to provide better customer services, Hung Fook Tong deployed their own membership card system using the Hybrid Mifare & Thermal Rewritable technology in April 2008. Members can store value in the member cards to enjoy an extra 10% cash rebate. Bonus points will be rewarded for every purchase using the prepaid cards, and members can redeem the quarterly cash rewards, special members’ discounts or gifts etc.

The custom made Loyalty Management System was integrated with the existing POS system to form a basic platform which can be upgraded from time to time according to the marketing needs. The powerful data capture and backend analysis system allows management to understand better the customers’ preference and behavior. Zense Hotel Zense Hotel and Spa is a five star boutique hotel in Shenzhen, opened in December 2007. Zense Hotel is popular for its modern and contemporary design. Zense Hotel & Spa built a central membership database, which is integrated with the hotel, spa and F&B management system so that customers can add value or do payment with one single card in any station. The backend database collects all the data for centralize analysis and hence improve the CRM efficacy.

  

Hung Fook Tong Holdings
Golden Harvest Group has deployed the new Hybrid Card System in all their five theatres in 2007. System consists of a powerful data capture system and a loyalty management software which supports various bonus and promotion ideas.   In order to give a better service, the system was integrated with their POS platform in box offices, ticketing kiosks, online booking and telephone booking system.   Members can earn bonus points from either one of the above channels and the latest bonus status will be shown on cards for easy reference.   Members can also check their latest membership status online.
New Balance New Balance, one of the largest athletic footwear and apparel companies, has released a new bonus rewarding system in 2007.   The rewritable window of the Thermal Rewritable Card system allows real time delivery of latest bonus status and specified promotion messages.

A-Look, a pioneer optical chained store with the free-to-try concept, deployed the “Thermal Rewritable Card system” and the “Loyalty Management System” in all their 13 stores in 2007.
